Dehradun – Kedarnath

Your spiritual journey begins at the Sahastradhara helipad in Dehradun, where you will meet our tour representative. The helicopter will depart for Harsil, the base for Gangotri, at around 7:00 AM. The flight duration is approximately 35-40 minutes, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan landscape.

Next, leave for Kharsali helipad to visit the sacred shrine of Yamunotri, which takes about 35 minutes. Upon arrival at Kharsali Helipad, check in to the Yamunotri Cottages. After lunch, proceed towards Yamunotri by Palki. The 6 km trek through the scenic landscape of Uttarakhand takes approximately 1 hour. On reaching Yamunotri shrine, pay homage to the River Goddess, who is also the sister of Yama, Lord of Death. Visiting the shrine is said to clean sins and grant salvation. After darshan, head back to Kharsali by evening. Upon your arrival back to cottages, have refreshments, followed by dinner & overnight stay in Yamunotri.

Kedarnath - Bdrinath

The flight from Kedarnath to Badrinath usually takes around 30-35 minutes, saving you from the long and tiring road journey. Upon landing near Badrinath, you can easily make your way to the temple, one of the holiest shrines dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Travel Tips

  • 1. Thermals, Pair of Gloves, Monkey Cap, Cotton Sweater/Jackets, Sunscreen lotion, Moisturizer, Sunglasses, Comfortable Sports Shoes, Umbrella/Windcheater, Vicks, Camphor, small torch, etc.
  • 2. Asthma & Heart Patients are not advised – Consult your doctor before joining.
  • 3. Carry dark chocolates, dry fruits, Glucose (Glucon D), and toffees. This will provide you instant energy during trekking & long journeys.
  • 4. Carry your Pooja samagri as per your requirement.
  • Follow the instructions of the Tour manager.
  • 5. Do not take pictures if cameras are not allowed in temples.
  • 6. Carry extra batteries for your camera & power banks for your cell phone.
  • 7. Communication: Although all private mobile phones have coverage, Airtel & Jio network is better in most places.
  • 8.Fitness: All pilgrims should be physically fit. It is better to do some jogging and other light exercises to prepare for this journey.
  • 9. For Kedarnath, guests need to carry a small handbag for 1 day’s clothes & your necessary valuables as suitcases cannot be carried up.
  • 10. The approximate charge for one way Doli to Yamunotri shall be Rs. 6500 per person & Kedarnath is Rs. 12,000 per person. However, it can be subject to change due to demand in the area.
  • 11. This is a pilgrimage sector, so don’t keep high expectations in hotels except Haridwar.
